1. Overview

Nerdhook provides an AI customer support workspace that helps teams answer customer questions using approved business content, product documents, and support materials.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication provider, workspace details, business setup details, and login metadata. Login metadata may include session identifiers, IP address, browser or device user agent, last activity time, and approximate location labels derived from IP information. If your team adds support content or knowledge base files, we process that content to provide the service.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide login access, manage workspaces, generate knowledge-aware answers, maintain security, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and communicate important service updates.

4. OAuth login

When you sign in with Google or GitHub, Nerdhook receives basic profile information allowed by the provider. We do not receive your Google or GitHub password. Nerdhook may ask you to confirm with Google again before sensitive account security actions, such as logging out other active devices.

5. Business content

Content connected to Nerdhook remains your business content. We use it to provide responses inside your workspace, power the embedded widget, and operate the service. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted service providers needed for hosting, authentication, analytics, security, and customer support.

7. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user and workspace data. No online system is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond quickly to security issues.

Signed-in users can review active Nerdhook sessions from account settings and request logout for other devices. These controls use stored session metadata and may require Google confirmation to reduce unauthorized changes.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Workspace owners may request deletion where applicable.
